About
EV Hack (Bosch – IEEE Hackathon) is an Electric Vehicles Online Hackathon organized by IEEE IA/IE/PELS Jt. Chapter Kerala, in association with Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions India. This hackathon is exclusively for 3rd year undergraduate engineering students around PAN India. EV Hack provides ample opportunity for students to get the industry exposure and to do projects that are of industry level with mentoring from experts of Electric Vehicle Industry.
The winning teams of the Hackathon will be granted 6-month internship, partly in RBEI and their Parent institute after meeting the BOSCH interview process.

Who are the intended Candidates?
Third Year B. Tech Students spanning all over engineering colleges across South India who match the following criteria:
◼️ Pursuing B. Tech in EEE/Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
◼️10th, 12th and BTech till date with more than 70% or CGPA of 7 and above.

EV Hack Timeline
Registration for EV Hack organized by IEEE IA/IE/PELS Jt Chapter Kerala in association with Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited (RBEI) is open now!
Apply before 24th April 2021
Go through the Guidelines before you apply Eligibility criteria: Third Year B. Tech Students spanning all over engineering colleges across South India who match the following criteria:

◼️ Do not have any present backlogs.
◼️ 10th, 12th and BTech till date with more than 70% or CGPA of 7 and above.
Online BOOTCAMP, exclusively for EV-Hack registrants, is scheduled for 15th May 2021 in the idea to educate the registrants about designing Electric Vehicles and to provide them with a clear idea regarding the hackathon. The session will be handled by industrial experts from RBEI including Er. Karthik Rajapaul, Er. Prasanth Pathiyil, Er. Pradeepkumar Keloth.

Criterias for the first Screening:
◼️ Team members should be third Year B. Tech Students in EEE/Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering from colleges across South India.
◼️ 10th, 12th and B. Tech till date with more than 70% or CGPA of 7 and above.
◼️ Do not have any present backlogs.
109 teams have been selected out of 232 teams from 65 colleges according to the eligibility criteria.
As first phase of EV Hack, the teams are requested to submit their project details for the problem statement in the below given google form with the template provided.
The deadline for the submission is 5th June 2021, 10 PM IST. The team not submitting shall be considered disqualified.
Based on the submission of the first phase, 25 teams have been selected for the final phase. RBEI released the details of selected teams on 16th June 2021.

Final phase of EV Hack is scheduled on 17th and 18th July 2021 with 25 teams and the winning teams of the Hackathon will be granted 6-month internship, partly in RBEI and their Parent institute after meeting the BOSCH interview process.
The final round will be a presentation for which the teams shall present their solution to the problem statement given earlier. Also, the teams shall submit their presentations by 16th July 2021 – 5 PM.

Second Screening
- Qualified Teams were requested to submit a manuscript based on the given Problem statement.

Final Round
- Selected Teams were requested to submit the presentation for the final round.
- The teams will be evaluated based on their final presentation on 17th & 18th July 2021
